Snowflake's favorite book is the Spanish language storybook called "Frida", a short biographical sketch of Frida Kahlo's childhood. The drawings were the inspiration for the cake.

That is one cool cake! I really like it. It is very pretty.
Sofie has 'Frida" also. Her house is a blue house. It is the town of Coyoacan. That's the picture scene of the cake. Ana Juan does WONDERFUL art. That is quite the cake. You got a great cake maker in your small town. Awesome! Tres original!
Si! Para la pequena Frida, el mundo es Mexico. I have to read it in Spanish and then translate it for him! Ha! I too, LOVE her illustrations. I was blown away when I went to pick up the cake, no doubt. I was sooooooo excited I had to call my best man in Miami to describe my awe and wonderment!
holy fuck! that cake is an incredible edible! You almost want to preserve it...like spray hairspray on it and save it forever...it's a work of art...truly....for Truebie.
Sorry I missed the party...that seems to be the story of my life lately...only I miss the boat so to speak.
