I've never been crazy enough to join the masses in ritual after Thanksgiving shopping frenzies. Instead, I hung out with my mamma and we watched The Notorious Bettie Page. It was okay. An HBO movie, bordering more on Lifetime. My reward was this amazing sunset. The lake is not fozen yet and the water, well, smooth as glass.
See? This is I miss most about North America. People in Hong Kong will never enjoy anything this miraculous and pure. This is why they have to travel and pay thousands for... and yet may never be there at the right moments. Thanks for your photos, Ms.mamma.
I meant to say... This is WHAT I miss most about North America... I've been told moving to Hong Kong would detriment my abilities in English for the first year and stabilize itself again. As long as I don't fall into the shitty "chinlish" category.
