Great list! I kinda liked that Bangles song, though...and also the dumb version of "You Keep Me Hanging On". Sorry. ;) But there was some cool music that year, it's just not on the list.
Well, I can see that you're a big fan of Madonna! :-)
J- I was a black baller usually- like KW came out with 'Kids in America' and I despised that song so she was pretty much screwed for anything that came after. Your comment, about there being cool music just not on this list is dead on , sister.
Yes, I admit it. I was a MadonnaWannaBE for awhile. So was my best friend, Paul. He could Vogue exactly like her in the video. It was amazing. He even had the same hair, though not bleach blond. HaHA Remember that, Godfather?
Great list! Wow, that's a blast from the past, eh? btw, I am the queen at singing "Material Girl" in karaoke! LOL! For some reason that's the only song that I don't suck at! Ohhhh...Time After Time and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me...LOL Yikes...totally a product of the 80's!!
One more thing: how do you strike through the words??? I've never figured out how to do that! Grrr...
Oh my god --- READY FOR THE WORLD! I was in love.
(Did I just reveal too much?)
Cheers for the "striking out" html tip :) I finally got it down, I think! BTW, Hubby graduated high school the same year as you did.
I saw Bruce Willis in concert, at Alpine Valley that year
Me and Steve Osswald
What's the code for striking through?
