Primal Insomnia

It's 1 AM and I can hear Snowflake talking in his sleep. He sounds so squishy chipmonk cute I could die. I was reading Rachel's blog and she mentioned that one of the books that made her cry was "Clan of the Cavebear" and I commented that all I could think of was Rae Dawn Chong in "Quest for Fire". Sorry, but those doggiestylin' cavemen were hairy scarey uglies. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Even Chaka was "cuter". Now I'm off to pay for something I "won" on ebay. Night-night. Good sleepies & dreamies.

OMG..."Clan of the Cave Bear" is one of my fave books. I read it ages ago and I remember crying all the way through until I finished it! LOL! I'm such a sappy person, it's not even funny! So funny that you mentioned "Quest for Fire", because every time I read a Jean Auel book, I think of that! We had to watch QFF in one of my Anthropology classes in college. (BTW, those doggiestylin' cavemen freaked me out!) I'm in the process of reading "Valley of the Horses" right now.

Sooooooo...did you win anything interesting on ebay??

Quest for Fire! Dang, that movie came out when I was in high school. But remember: Caveman was taught to be more gentle during "Uh Uh" by Rae Dong Chong. ;-)

I love listening to dudelet talking in his sleep as well, even at 1am. Even when (as now) he's dragged me out of bed at 6am on a Saturday because he's 'thirsty', he's presented with water and looks at me like I'm the biggest (though friendliest) idiot in the world and says "I don't want to drink any...", he's still cute. (yawn)

Oooooooooo! You were on ebay? What did you get?

Even when he sleeps he is so enthusiastic and excited about things. We slept until almost 10am this morning!(late night).

Ebay, right... Do you ever really 'win' anything? I bought a puffy down Old Navy jacket and a few pairs of really cute Keens for SF. I must be heading for a pre-mid life crisis because I'm obsessed with finding a primo vintage mink coat. Yeah, I'm a vegetarian who wears leather. I would rather see someone enjoying it than destroying it(that doesn't count for brand new).

But wait, I DID eat sashimi grade tuna 2X a few weeks ago...So I don't know what I am. Do even make sense?
