Like

It's like(the feeling of) finding a baby bird, fallen, boney and featherless on the ground, wide eyes bulging blue behind onion skin lids.

It's like losing something dear to you: a trinket, heart or person.

It's like knowing that you could be screwing up someone's life and that you can never really save someone's life.

It's like realizing that you really know nothing other than how to breathe.

Wow...That sounds exactly how I felt the other day.

Actually, a more fitting way to put how I felt would be something like "feeling like you just can't take it anymore and wanting to scream your head off in the middle of the woods".

Our students who we are hosting for the next few months have been pretty challenging. Well, the older one has been a royal pain in the arse. The younger one has been more thoughtful and helpful. For the most part, things are fine and they're good. It's just when the older one gets rude and bossy and bullies the younger one...ahhhhhhh! Oh, and discipline? What's that? I don't think their parents ever spent time with them since they own a few schools so the kids run free...and then they send them overseas to me so I can deal with them :)

LOL! Sorry for venting :) It's just that your post couldn't have appeared at a better time. That's exactly how I felt the other day.

Taklng a break from listening to dudelet's current screaming fit, I can assure you that knowing how to breathe is an accomplishment. I apparently breathe too loudly.

I agree...breathing is a talent.

I wish I did Yoga. Breathing is an art form. I know what you mean, but we just can't stop breathing, even if we don't do it correctly. WHen I can get a 'deep cleansing breath', it's a total treat. It's almost like getting high.
