Imagine the entire flower, from a potentilla shrub, is smaller than the star shaped center in the photograph. Amazing, so dewy and delicate. Look at how transparent that star is. Why do I have a fascination with photographing bugs when I really don't like them? So much so that I actually broke down and surrounded my house with Ortho's 'Home Defense' yesterday. WTF?
Maybe it helps you face your dislike of bugs. I have a strong aversion to bugs. Some of them terrify me. My boyfriend laughs and says your like a giant to them and your scared??? But these pictures are beautiful!
