Vote for Snowflake

Ugh. I spent the entire day processing photographs I took yesterday in CS2. I took Christmas photographs for two families and they turned out really, really well. I am excited for them to see them. As I am doing it as a favor, I just burned them to discs for them to take to a printer.

I took some photographs of Snowflake last night for, I don't know... Our Christmas card. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to plague people with yet another photograph of him. I mean, I love him. I think the world of him. Is it getting old yet? I guess I don't really give a shit. I dig them. Maybe I could use some advice on which one to use this year. Nah. I also have ANOTHER series with him wearing a funky hat, but I did the hat thing last year. BORING but cute.

Hmmm...I think I like the third one best. I don't know, they're just soft and very baby-like, a quality that is evaporating quickly. I've been so busy, I miss writing. For fun. :( I put my Powerbook in the closet on Friday and I haven't seen it since.

Hola amiga! Those photos are amazing! You could (and should) seriously do some photography on the side. With your talent, I'm sure you'd get a bunch of gigs in no time! A friend of mine does it and said when he started out, it was hard to get into the business because there were a lot of well known photographers in his city. I know that if it's something you love doing to express your artistic side, then you may not want to make it a "work" thing...but think of the extra pocket change you can make AND use your talents and creativity!! ;) You're awesome, chica!

The third one is a no-brainer. Perfect for the holidays and it's cute and cuddly all the way. You should do photography, you've got talent. I'm serious. I don't say that unless I truly mean it.

Regards to your third picture of Snowflake as cherub... I also LOVE the reflection of the christmas lights. It's breathtaking. Really. He's the perfect model.

ditto Heid...the third pic is THE best...beautiful...it captures all the hope and wonderment that we had as a child at X-mas time....it brings back many awesome memories for me growing up...I love it! See you soon!

Looks like the third pic's the winner! :) It truly is perfect. If the saying "A picture says a thousand words" is true, then this is what they mean. Truly captures the spirit of Christmas. *sigh* Wish I were a kid again and was able to look at things the same way Snowflake does!

I wish you were here so you could take a picture of Maya for our card. ;) My camera doesn't do anything as well as yours, and I don't have your artist's eye, either. Great stuff. I also concur, the third is the best.

I love the third one. It is so sweet. That is the winner.

Thanks everyone. I went with the third and already have them in their frames for mailing out. They look very cool. I chose a ruby red flocked frame with a sliver of gold around the inside and outside edge.

I was so happy! I received an email from one of the families this morning and she said that a photo I took of her with her daughter made her cry. She LOVED them. Actually she said LOVE LOVE LOVE them, exactly like that. Ahhhhh... I can die happy after notes like that.

J- I would love to take pictures of Maya for you! Although I do love that snapshot you took of her with the gee-tar. Anytime you're in Dairyland, I'm here. ;)

On that second one he totally looks cockeyed. Hilarious. Calista's little cockeyed hermano.
